Home  /  About sourcing brine-cured grape leaves.
01What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
MOQ depends on the program — packaging, destination, certification, and whether it's a trial or volume contract. Send your target volume and destination port for a custom minimum, sample plan, and scale-up path.
02What is the typical lead time?
Varies by origin, grade, and certification: Türkiye conventional — 14–21 days from order confirmation. Pesticide-free — add ~7 days for residue testing. Organic certified — 28–42 days. Syrian / Xinjiang origins — add 7–21 days routing. Single-origin spec — add 3–7 days consolidation. Sea freight is additional.
03Which certifications do you ship with?
ISO 9001, ISO 22000, and ISO 14001 certificates available on request. Pesticide-free includes third-party lab residue panel per lot. Organic programs sourced via certified partners — EU Organic and USDA NOP depending on destination. Halal-suitable and Kosher-suitable declarations available; full third-party Halal/Kosher certification not held in-house.
04What packaging formats are available?
10 kg HDPE buckets (retail import & foodservice). 20 kg HDPE buckets (retail & manufacturing). 150 kg HDPE drums (ready-meal manufacturing). 180 kg HDPE drums (volume programs). All food-grade with seal-date and brine specs per lot. Custom/private-label packaging on contract.
05How do I request a sample?
Sample plans quoted against variety, grade, packaging, and destination. Pre-shipment samples, evaluation samples, and multi-variety comparison packs possible when stock is available.
06What payment terms do you offer?
Agreed per program — new-account terms, LC options, and repeat-buyer contracts depend on destination, order value, documentation, and credit approval.
07What is the shelf life and storage?
Wet-brine grape leaves have a typical 18-month shelf life at ambient storage (10–25°C, away from direct sunlight). Reefer not needed. After opening, refrigerate at 0–4°C and consume within 30 days. Freezing damages leaves.
08What is the difference between conventional, pesticide-free, and organic?
Three audit-chain tiers: Conventional — EU MRL compliant, standard for most retail/ready-meal. Pesticide-Free — residues below detection limit on an EU MRL panel. Organic Certified — certified organic farming under EU Organic or USDA NOP via producer partners.
09Which Incoterms do you ship under?
Most B2B ships FOB Mersin or FOB İzmir. CFR and CIF on request using your own forwarder. DDP available for select destinations on contract.
10Can you supply private label or custom specifications?
Yes — private label, custom drained weight, brine adjustments, and packaging customization on contract. Custom programs typically require a 12-month declared volume commitment for harvest allocation. Send specs via the contact page.
